I took an acting class for three easy credits, but the professor, an aging British thespian, had us write the material we'd be performing. My writing rewarded me with the rush of audience laughter and sent me down the path of screenwriter and filmmaker throughout my twenties. At thirty, I reluctantly pivoted into real estate and became a successful designer and builder of luxury homes. I worked hard, did well, but my early ambitions still taunted me, so I took my business experience and founded Home Cooked Films. The plan was to bring my skills back up to snuff before approaching the industry, so working with a group of talented people, I've been quietly directing and producing a variety of projects including a feature comedy, a tv pilot, a reality series, and documentary shorts. I also refocused my efforts on screenwriting, joining the Writer's Guild and completing four new feature scripts. At present, I'm seeking new partners and gearing up for a busy production schedule of a feature documentary, a feature comedy, and a home building series. You can read about them in Current Projects.
